TOK Journal 2One properly justified true belief that I have is that the current form of government used by the United States is not a real democracy and is a republic. The concept of a democracy is that the power lies directly in the hands of the people. Were the people vote directly and the majority wins. The direct democracy has been shown to not work on a large scale and the democratic republic is adopted for a large scale democratic work. The democratic republic is where the people vote for people to represent their interests in the government. These definitions are ones that I have learned from rTOK Journal 2
and btw, what IS Planck's Constant? my textbook was, er, let's say, poor, and did not tell.
